The third Undercover Farming Expo and Conference will be held at the Saint George Hotel & Convention Centre near Pretoria, from 4 – 6 March 2014. This expo and conference will focus on intensive farming techniques and farming industries for existing and potential producers and buyers of vegetables, flowers, fruit and seedlings being produced under protective cover, as well as for suppliers to the industry.
The expo covers all the elements involved in the undercover production methods from tunnel construction, growth enhancements and climate conditions to seedlings, packaging and export opportunities.
Haygrove Tunnels, an internationally recognized company that specialize in greenhouse tunnel construction, will be exhibiting at the expo for 3 days offering interested parties a wealth of information on farming undercover and the newest technologies available on the market. Haygrove is not only keen to meet with bigger commercial farmers, but also with emerging and small scale farmers that are interested in undercover farming solutions.
Situated 20km from OR Tambo International Airport, the Saint George is easily accessible from Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounding areas.
