Haygrove Garden tunnels are used for a wide variety of crops. Recently a client started a Aquaponics system in a 4m wide and 6m long Haygrove Garden tunnel.
Aquaponics is the farming of fish and plants in a single recirculating system. The waste from the fish becomes the nutrients for the plants, and the plants in turn remove these nutrients from the water, purifying it for the fish.
Haygrove South Africa is very proud to be part of this backyard food security initiative. The Aggregate Bed Technique is working great with this system.
